Dinner at La Briciola was awesome

This was a place we went to several years ago and voted it, "Best Pizza Ever". . . Tonight we returned and confirmed that belief. It is an Italian restaurant (If you're keeping score at home we have eaten out for dinner twice and both times at Restaurants Italiano?) As before, we showed up too early and interrupted the staff dinner. They responded, as before, with graciousness and a bottle of wine. (Can't beat the French hospitality). Promptly At 1930 they took our order for bruschetta, insalata mista, and cappricosa pizza (black olives, artichokes, prosciutto, mushrooms and sauce) We had intended to take a picture for your enjoyment, but we took care of our own enjoyment first and ate the whole thing before thinking about dragging out the camera. It was that good! Sorry about that! Trust us, it was magnificent! Oh! And we had another bottle of wine, Chianti Classico Magnifico! Because they had been so nice to us we ordered a panacota caramel for desert (Note: we did this to thank them for their kindness, not for our own enjoyment!) For our generous efforts and returned kindness the panna cotta  caramel was out of this world TASTY. Frequently there are multiple rewards just for being nice! Because we shared the panna cotta we thought it only right that we stop for ice cream on the way home. We did! Ran home, smeared on some Nutella and enjoyed desert for ourselves this time. Life is full of tasty goodness!
