We ran into this Band

While on our daily walk about we ran into this jazzy band in the street. They are kind of a New Orleans Jazz band or swing band singing all American classics. Our Favorite was, "Won't you Come Home Bill Baily!". . . It was great to run into a little slice of America along the way.
The guy with the turquoise sports jacket played both a tiny trumpet he hung around his neck on a chain (Sounded Great) and the trombone. The woman singer was great. We could have listened all afternoon, but as you can see, it is on a busy street with both cars and people (More people than cars) and no place to sit/stand and the passers-by were irritating as hell.
Here a random couple has the spirit move them and they got into the street to dance. He may have been with the band as he danced with several different women. Nice job if you can get it! This was on the way to the Musee Carnvalet right across the street from this.
This Museum is dedicated to the history of Paris and is quite interesting. It is mostly Paintings, but also many complete rooms filled with furniture of the period (This, like most places in this part of town was once a huge and private palace). We loved it!
That is all for now . . . Duane feels nap coming on. Our landlord, a French Literature Professor has a whole house full of books. Duane is reading, for the first time, "The Picture of Dorian Gray"
