It is Sunday morning!. . . . How does Duane know?. . . The church, which is right on our block, (Right next door actually) started ringing it's bells at 9:15 and didn't stop for a full 15 minutes! That seems a bit excessive to Duane. One would think that if you're going to show up for church on a Sunday morning you'd know what time the service starts and need only 3 or 4 minutes of bells at the most! But everyone is awake now and we can get on with our day. What's that ringing???
The Italians have a saying, "I'l Dolce far Niente". . . . Roughly translated as, "The Sweetness of Doing Nothing!" Duane is going to work on this today. He's actually been working on this his whole life, but has gotten serious about it lately. We'll see. . . . We have our very first rainy day and getting wet is also something Duane fears! He may stay in and sort photos all day!
Duane is thrilled about the Hawkeye Victory! We get news splattered around so it took awhile for this news to arrive. It was great news. Glad Iowa has a new Quarterback!
