We've been to church and back

As forewarned, we went to church. No one had seen Duane in church for some time so there was some consternation as to whether he should be let in, but in he end love won out. That was the original message, you know! Love one another! 

As promised we went for the Organ and stayed for the whole mass. First, here is the organ!

Told you it was BIG! It is hard to get a picture of this thing, so just imagine yourself as that tiny person on the balcony on the bottom right side. That's you! When this baby cranks up the pigeons go nuts, but the faithful are enraptured. 

Here is the alter piece. Unlike Notre Dame, which offered 9 priests, Siant Sulpice only offered 7. Duane wonders about things like this, but they had lots of incense, so Duane was happy.

But back to the organ. . . We stayed for the whole mass and Duane did not explode. The other good news was that the organ was extraordinary. Paula is going to try and load a video.
