Some days are like this

Today we wound it down to an "Italian Stroll" pace and hoofed it to the Viaduc des Arts. Originally a railway line it has been converted to a wonderful walkway on top and shops below.
It is another hot day in Paris (80+) and the shaded walkway was a nifty way to spend the morning.
Along the way one gets a tiny window into the lives of the people who live along the way.
In this photo you see someone's geranium project that got away from them. It is nice to have a garden like this on the fourth floor.
As much as we tried, we couldn't get excited about the shops below so we mailed some books to Piper and Reagan and made for lunch. Paula went for the mussels and fries (Moules and Frites)
Duane was in the mood for some steak a poivre vert. . . Or as Duane would say, "Bring me some a that pepper steak, please." He can say that in French now, but doesn't like to show off.
You should not be surprised to see everything comes with French Fries (Pomme Frites) and a beer!
