Today was just perfect!

As mentioned below, we went out of town to Rouen. Again you'll have to look it up if you want details. Trust me, it had cathedrals! It was so much better than we expected (and we had high expectation) that we thought about staying, but opted to come home to our paid up apartment.

LIFE Is SHORT! BUY The SHOES!. . . This worn by a stylin' young woman with extraordinary shoes. Duane approved and declared this shirt a winner. He understands and lives by this rule. That is why he has multiple pairs of Pikolinos and several Mephistos. Life is too short to mess around with bad footwear.
The couple of the day (No Not the lovers behind the church) were not a couple at all, but should have been. The woman: starting with pink pumps she just made it better as one went up to a bright pink polka dotted dress with a matching scarf. Now, I can hear you saying, "That's no big deal!" And I agree. What instantly made her a winner is she had gone "All In" and dyed her hair pick as well! She was a big hit on Rue Gros-Horloge!
The man: just a little on the "Husky Side" he wore purple suede shoes, large block checked crop pants in shades of red and blu, his shirt, a respectable pale blue was highlighted with checkered backing at the cuffs and collar, his scarf a completely unmatched, but marvelously plaid scarf completed the ensemble. Like our lady winner. . He was a stunner!
Rouen, as you know if you've been doing your homework, is the place where they burned young Joan of Arc at the stake. There is a big concrete stake with a cross on top. There was also a Jeanne d'Arc church that Duane tried to break into was thwarted by a guard who was protecting a wedding party. He tried for you, but failed. He tried to get an invitation to the wedding but that was stiff-armed too.
As the day was humming along we were entertained by a drum group (they played drums) and a New Orleans Style Brass marching band (They played Jazz).
All in all a perfect day!
